Cin7 Core | Custom Product Prices

Custom Product Prices in Cin7 Core allow you to offer different pricing for specific customers or groups of customers. This feature is particularly useful when you want to reward loyal clients, provide wholesale rates, or adjust prices for particular customer segments without changing the default product prices.

Why Custom Product Prices Are Important

Not all customers pay the same price for your products. For instance:

  • You might want to give special rates to your distributors or VIP clients.

  • Certain retail partners might require fixed price lists.

  • Seasonal or contract-based customers might have negotiated pricing.

Instead of manually changing prices each time you create a sales order, you can use Custom Product Prices to automatically apply the right price for the right customer.


How Custom Prices Are Applied in Sales

When creating a Sales Order or Invoice for a customer:

  • Cin7 Core automatically checks if the customer has an assigned Custom Product Price List.

  • If found, the custom price replaces the product’s default selling price.

  • If no custom list is assigned, the system uses the standard product price.
