In the Lightspeed R Series, you may need to edit a completed sale due to pricing errors, incorrect customer information, or changes in payment type. Editing a sale ensures your records stay accurate and your reporting reflects the true transaction details.

What Happens After Editing?

  • The original Sale ID remains the same, but edits will be logged in the system

  • Audit trails track who made the changes and when

  • Changes may reflect in your sales reports, employee performance, or integrated accounting tools
