About Markup Price Updates
The Markup Price Update page enables you to set sell price of products based on a pre-defined markup percentage. Using the feature you can mark up from the Average Land Cost, Last Cost, Default Purchase Price, and Default Sell Price.
The new Markup Price Updates function allows batch update of sell prices based on the defined product markups. By default, all products are displayed. Additionally, you can select and filter what products you want to update, also import and export selected product sell price tiers. You can access the Markup Price Update from Inventory | Products | Markup Price Update. For more information, see Import Markup Prices and Import Markup Price Field Definitions.
Markup Price Update is a special feature that is only available for users on specified plans. Check out the Unleashed website for more information. Every price that is updated on this page is logged.
Functional descriptions
Header button descriptions
Import: When selected, you have the option of importing new price markups into Unleashed.
Export: When selected, you have the option of exporting your selected price markups from Unleashed.
Header fields for Batch tab
Product Code: Field used to search for a specified product by product code.
Product Description: Field used to search for the specified product by description.
Supplier Code: Field used to search for a specified product by product code.
Supplier Name: Field used to search for a specified supplier by supplier name.
Product Group: Field used to search for a specified product group.
Price tiers
Drop-down menu used to update available price tiers.
Grid column descriptions for Batch tab
Code: This column displays product code for the specified line.
Description: This column displays the product description for the specified line.
Purchase Price: This column displays the purchase price for the specified line.
Sell Price: This column displays the sell price for the specified line.
Tier (1-10): These columns show the sell price tiers for the current specified line.
The Log tab
The Log tab enables you to view product details such as the old price of the product, and the new price based on the new calculated price.
Grid column descriptions for the Log tab
Date: This column displays the date for the specified line.
Product Code: This column displays the product code for the specified line.
Sell Price Tier: This column displays the sell price for the specified line.
Old Price: This column displays the old price of the product for the specified line.
New Price: This column displays the new calculated price of the product for the specified line.
Created By: Contains the email/account name of user.
Getting started
When you enter this page for the first time, the default setting is disabled.
To enable;
- Select at least one sell price tier to update.
- As soon as you have selected one or more tiers, the update button becomes available.
- Press Update to recalculate the new values.
This page only recalculates the mark-up based on its configured settings.
