View Assemblies

About View Assemblies


The View Assemblies page enables you to view a list of all assemblies based on the status and drill down on them where necessary.

This includes:

  • Viewing and selecting Parked and/or Completed.
  • Exporting assemblies to PDF for crisp reporting or Excel for further review. You can access the View Assemblies page from the Production | View Assemblies.

 

Functional descriptions



 


Header button descriptions


Across the top of the View Assemblies page you can see three buttons on the right of the banner. These each serve a purpose as below:
Export: If you wish to export the current view you can click "Export" to get a PDF version. Alternatively if you click the drop-down you also have the option of .csv, .xlsx and .xls
Add Disassembly: If you need to add a Disassembly to disassemble an assembled product, you can use this shortcut button to go to the Disassembly page.
Add Assembly: If you need to add another assembly, you can use this shortcut to go to the Assembly page.

 

Filter fields


Assembly Number: Search field used to filter a specified Assembly Number. This is an alpha-numeric search.
Assembly Status: A drop-down menu used to filter by Assembly Status. Statuses available are All, Parked or Completed.
Product: Search field used to filter a specified assembled product.
Assembly Type: A drop-down menu used to filter by Assembly Types. Statuses available are Assembly or Disassembly.
Auto-Assembly: A drop-down menu used to filter statuses by the Assembly Status. Statuses available are Assembly or Disassembly.

 

Grid column descriptions


Assembly Number: Displays unique Assembly number for the specified line.
Assembly Date: Displays the date that the specified line was actioned.
Assembly Status: Displays the status of the specified line, i.e; Assembled, Parked etc.
Product Description: Displays the product description of the specified line, i.e. ANIMAL or BISCUIT.
Warehouse: Displays the name of the warehouse for the specified line.
Assembly Type: Displays the type of assembly for the specified line, it will either be Assembly or Disassembly.
Auto-Assembly: Displays if the product line is auto-assembled or not.
Assembled Quantity: Displays the number of assembled products for the specified line.
Total Cost: Displays the total cost for the specified line.

 

Using the custom grids


Depending on what sort of information you require, you can enter the relevant criteria and then click Run at the top on the banner. You can also export what you are seeing to a number of different formats such as pdf, xls and .xlsx using the Export button on the banner. Using the tool bar above the grid, you can do a number of other things to the information shown in the grid.

These are described as follows:

  • Group By Column(s):

To group by a desired column you simply need to drag and drop it into toolbar above the grid. As soon as you drop it the grid will group everything based on that column. You can group by as many columns as you like and expand all or collapse all the groups under the More menu.

  • Create Multiple Views:

To set up multiple views of this report you just need to click New on the toolbar and give it a name after making any customizations. You can create as many views as you like and also choose a default which will be displayed when you first click on the report.

  • Customize Columns Shown:

Using the Hidden Columns button you can choose what columns are shown on the grid and where. To add or remove a column, simply drag and drop the columns you like to and from the Hidden columns box.


Searching for assemblies

How to use the Search for viewing assemblies

If you cannot see the assembly in the list you can use this search button.

  1. Click Search
  2. A new Add Assembly dialog box appears, enter the required Assembly Number and/or Product code to search.
  3. Once selected, the required Assembly is listed in the dialog.

 

Exporting your assembly


How to export your assembly

  1. If you wish to export the current view you can click "Export" to get a PDF version.
  2. Alternatively if you click the drop-down you also have the option of .csv, .xlsx and .xls

 

Adding assemblies


If you need to add another assembly, you can use this shortcut to go to the Assembly page.
