When do I use the Settings module?
It is recommended that you complete all setting requirements before importing data and performing data transactions in Unleashed. Setting up your Unleashed file correctly is an essential process that ensures that fields and categories you need to select throughout the data entry process are available and valid from the beginning. This ensures that Unleashed's data is matched to your business process requirements.
For example:
- Set your Currencies early, this will ensure that you can transact in any currency, as well as your default buy and sell rates.
- Set your transaction prefixes early, this includes the prefixes and numbers to be used in the transactions you make. Doing this early is the only time you will get to change these before you start entering transactions.
