Price Tiers in Cin7 Core let you define different selling prices for the same product. This feature is useful when you have varied customer groups — for example, retail customers, distributors, and VIP clients — each receiving different pricing.
By default, Cin7 Core provides ten price tiers (Price Tier 1 to Price Tier 10). You can rename these tiers to better reflect your business structure (e.g., Retail, Wholesale, Distributor, etc.).
Price tiers offer several advantages:
Flexible pricing: Adjust pricing easily for different markets or customer groups.
Simplified discount management: Avoid creating separate discount rules for each customer.
Time efficiency: Automatically apply the correct pricing to each customer during sales.
Better margin control: Maintain consistent profitability across sales channels.
Keep tiers consistent: Avoid overlapping or confusing tier names.
Review pricing periodically: Ensure prices remain competitive and profitable.
Use descriptive tier names: Such as “Retail”, “Wholesale”, or “Distributor”.
Test before rollout: Always verify pricing in a test order to confirm correct tier application
